My name is Emma Enache and I am a Romanian-American architecture student at Clemson University. As a first-generation American, my experiences abroad have greatly influenced my frame of reference. From a very young age, I competed in rhythmic gymnastics which challenged me to develop discipline and was my foundational mode of expression.

I was also encouraged to pursue art as a creative outlet. Over the years, I was exposed to many styles and mediums of art. The exposure that I gained from my experiences have not only shaped my artistic style, but have also influenced my architectural design. I view design as a way to incorporate the vibrant colors of art and culture into a tangible space. Through this lens, I believe that the most impactful spaces incorporate elements and experiences at the personal scale.
